I have read quite a few FanFics where Dib captured Zim after Zim had been knocked out or went to "sleep"And Me being the Canon junkie that I am lol, wanted to do my own interpretation of what would happen If Dib dared to capture Zim after he was knocked unconscious.Even if the Organic brain is knocked out the Pak brain will still protect the Body shell. It was Seen in the deleted scene of "Abducted"www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyvJos… Zim gets knocked out after going though some fire and the Pak saves his life.
Now For my fan theory. I think the Pak brain is more ruthless then the organic brain, considering in the Script of " 10 minutes to doom" When it latches on to Dib, Dib seems to only want to destroy and carry out Zim's greatest desires without question or hesitation.
I think Zim's Time on Earth has Corrupted his Organic brain and caused him to care about Dib and the other residents in some small way, as seen in "Mopiness of Doom" But The Pak wouldn't have morals and would do whatever it takes to protect the body shell and achieve its objective of destroying the filthy earth.
That's just my theory though

Ahh I love this theory. It's also interesting to note that his Pak is apparently damaged or 'defective' so who knows how badly that affects him.
Perhaps it's why he always puts destruction in front of his common sense unlike the other Irkens (killing the other invaders, causing a planet-wide blackout soon after hatching, etc.).

He can't even use the pak thing as an excuse when he does get into serious trouble ether because:
A) He won't admit or believe there is anything at all wrong with him.
B) They would kill him.

I hope they explore more of the tragic side of Zim in the comic, I like the humor but i would really love to see some seriousness in there as well.
And yeah Zim is kinda damned no matter what he dose and I mean the Pak is essentially him after all. Also he is way too egotistical to believe his mighty Irken tech has failed him.

Also, I agree with your theory. I haven't read many FanFics of Invader Zim, but I've seen all the episodes, and I have to agree. Zim is not an easy creature to capture, even if he is asleep! Haha!

So your Invader Zim artwork convinced me to watch the show. I watched all of them and am sad they cancelled it. Also just thought I'd mention I had a dream the other day about Dib chasing after Zim. Something happened in the dream (not really sure what) and Zim saved Dib, then Dib was confused about what to do lol. My brain is weird.

They have a Pak "Brain" and a Body shell Brain, the Body shell brain looks no differently then a humans as seen in "Bad Bad rubber Piggy" If this brain is ever Harmed the Pak will "Reactivate" it similar to restarting your computer. as seen in "Plague of babies"
