#29: Medusa Heads and Fleamen - Castlevania
And what an accurate title it is! For no. 3 in our Ode to Minions are the Medusa Heads and Fleamen of Castlevania! (Fleaman as depicted in the ONLY logical way that one could be artistically represented) Castlevania fans the world over know full well the fear and rage that these little buggers induce whenever they enter the screen. It's easily said that these little minions are vastly more annoying and intimidating then the count himself! And like all truly obnoxious henchmen we've seen variants of these too, because just when you thought Medusa Heads and Fleamen were bad enough, they graciously gave us Medusa's that turn you to stone when touched(typically resulting in you falling down onto spikes and dying) and Fleamen either riding hawks or in armor (because 'fuck you' that's why!) Fleaman... Medusa... I hate you. I hate you with every fiber of my being... AND THAT'S WHY YOU MADE IT! ENJOY YOUR TIME IN THE SPOTLIGHT before I whip your ass into oblivion!

I always thought Medusa heads were..REALLY strange. Even for castlevania. She isn't known for having an endless supply of heads XD

I'm glad someone said this, I've always felt the same, especially with the established difference of the Medusa Heads and Medusa herself within the series!

I thought perhaps they were maybe spectral. A few game descriptions say they come/are the snakes in her hair, but..That STILL doesn't make any sense to me XD

I'd understand the snakes, if they were just that, but they clearly have a head in there XD
