#12: Amoeba Boys - Powerpuff Girls

Getting in at the twelvth spot for the Halloween Countdown: Ode to Minions; Yes, it's those one-celled wonders. The Amoeba Boys! The perpetually down trodden, useless, ineffectual wannabe criminals. I actually did not plan on adding these guys, in fact they had slipped from my mind until just the other night, but when I remembered them I couldn't deny them a final glimpse in the lime light.

I always loved the Powerpuff Girls,-(prior to it's later, crappy seasons and that accursed Powerpuff Girls Z, but that's a different story)-the characters were always great, especially the villains. A great range of menacing and funny, but the Amoeba Boys were always some of my favorite reoccuring failures. Maybe due to being characters to exist in the promos before the show's actual launch, just being truly funny or the fact that for no explained reason they were giant, sentient amoebas! Either way, they were prime materiel for this list.

They may not all be minions, per say, but they're useless and stupid and more often then not looked upon as typical, everyday citizens to not be worried about instead of a threat which they so desperately want to be. And I just had to give a little shout out to an old, great show. So there ya go~
