I use photoshop. I'm not even sure which version. xD That's just how clueless I am.
My friend tried to teach me when he gave it to me, but I completely blew him off and just joked around the entire time. (< So really it's my fault I'm so terrible.

And your art does not suck at all. I think it is really cute and impressive for one who doesn't know much about the program they are using. ^^ I use openCanvas but I can teach you about color tricks... they are basically teh same just organized and laid out differently. ^^

You did the background yourself too. That is real skill. I can't do my own backgrounds..... well, I can but I'm just too lazy, and I could probably do my own city scapes, but I'm waiting for my drawing board so i can do it perspective style, so it's accurate and neat.

I don't find there is anything wrong with them, it gives an 'original' artwork effect. I find it a really interesting effect. Like using real media rather than digital media.

The nose, hair and eyes are all awsome. And extra-spiffy coodles for the jacket. (how's that for made-up words?) The face lookes a little stuffed, though, like he's just eaten something. Maybe it's the shading for the placement of the chin. Or it might just be me.
