Description
My first dragon pic. this is for my wonder core design contest, sad thing is i couldnt finish painting it on photoshop in time. im still going to color it but i need to learn a bit more first.so just consider this a preview i guess lol.
i also saw that no one has made a st. cuthberts drake dragon yet, and i dont know why, this is such an awesome dragon, i love him so much.
i learned how to draw him in william o' connor's book, dracopedia. its a heacka cool book and i really recomend that you get it. its tought me alot about drawing AND coloring in photoshop.
so anyways im going to try to color it later on, but since im busy alot i cant make any promises.
enjoy ~skeletonbat

what is st. cuthberts drake? Never heard of it. Anyway, interesting concept. I've flipped through that book a few times, O' Connors' dragons are pretty entertaining.

a st. cuthbert's drake is a dragon from the drake dragon family.
it says Drakus eruous, 10'(3m) domesticated in the middle ages by the monks of st. cuthbert's abbey in Bavaria, thier sturdy build allowed them to climb rocky landscapes to aid pilgrims lost in the snow.
the dragons in his book are very interesting, its always fun to see more about them in his book

Oh, I'm sorry, you misunderstood me. I was wondering if the dragon was from any actual myth or folklore, or if it was just something made up by O'Connor.

A nib is the metal thingy that comic artists use to ink the comics. Also useful as a weapon...art can be dangerous
