Description
Fullview please!This painting was essentially a challenge for me, though I somehow suspect that I overestimated the amount of time I would have to devote to it when I first started on it. The insane amount (or lack thereof) of free time I have had over the past few weeks sapped my energy, and I finally finished it off. I would have liked to have worked on it longer, but I fear I won't get the time in the near future.
I spent a long time while I was drawing this thinking about the surrounding story, but I concluded that anything I came up with this time would spoil the mystery of the picture, and so I leave you to weave your own story.
PS 7, drawn in the snatches of free time I've had in the past month. Please tell me if you want this to be a print.

I feel some of the tones on the creatures face could ahve been blended a little more softly but it is still a beautiful dark piece, conjouers up images of the end of the world. stunning

The monstrous creature in the background is very interesting-looking. I can see why you were inspired to devise a back story

That is pretty cool. I was going to accuse you of NOT being a fantasy artist, as that thing looked like some sort of mech and her clothes looked a bit modern - only from the preview version

Cool artwork.
The girl in the middle of the picture caught my attention first, obviously because the armoured beast creature's dark looming bulk only served to highlight her. I like the tones of the skin and hairstyle, the best parts of that character imo, closely followed by the design of the clothing on her. Little touches like the grey cloth around her shoulder are good, complete with creases.
The armoured beast looks great as well. Only the eye of it seems to lack the menace that is otherwise instilled by other parts, like where the area of its face is coloured red, or by the jutting, curved horns. I think as it looks like its protecting the girl, it should be a good guy as well.
