Some more new viruses. From left to right:

Sobig - A worm that disguised itself in an email with the text "See the attached file for details", the attached file being none other than the virus itself. It replicates by gathering email addresses from an infected computer's files. Microsoft even issued a $250,000 bounty for information leading to the arrest of the worm's creator, who was never caught to this day.
Slammer - A worm that exploited a buffer overflow vulnerability to cause Denial of Service attacks and slow internet traffic. Its spread even caused many routers to outright crash under the sheer flood of traffic. Neighbouring routers would notice that affected routers had stopped working and would send status reports to other neighbouring routers, adding to the flood of traffic.
Blaster - A virus for Windows XP computers, designed to unleash DDOS attacks against the official Windows Update website. The virus even contained a taunting message to Bill Gates, reading "billy gates why do you make this possible ? Stop making money and fix your software!!".
