Algalyp live on the bottom of lakes and rivers in small clusters, feeding off decaying material that has sunk to the floor. They can secrete a sticky ooze from their feet that enables them to cling tightly to any solid surface. They keep their bodies cloaked with algae, from which they draw nutrients.
Algalyp evolves into Kelthozoa at level 16.
