Description
Thought it would be a laugh to Photoshop ponies into historical images. Here we have Celestia with Lenin in communist Russia 1920. (Don't know much on the Russian revolution, but I know this is a photo that always gets used when said revolution is discussed.)Why Lenin and communist Russia with Celestia? Well, there seems to be some sort of rough 'fannon' where Celestia is the ruler of the Equestria socialist party and Luna is the head of the Luna Republic, or something along those lines, and Celestia almost always gets portrayed as a Russian styled figure. That's why.
Celestia Vector by
Just a thought...Tyrannical leaders, lesbian pony pairings... All this from a show designed to sell plastic ponies to little girls.
Anyway, thoughts?
Cheers!
Hasbro owns the ponies, not me. Obviously.

Before Lenin instituted the Red Terror and had Celestial tortured to death for being a princess. She was skinned alive, crucified and dipped in boiling water.

Didn't the Revolutionaries executed the entire royal family?
I'm pretty sure Lenin wasn't a big fan of monarchies.

This is the photoshopped version... No, not in that sense. The original one had Trotsky right where Celestia's hooves are. Just pointing it out.

Forget the fact that she's a molester, she's a monarchist! That's precisely the kind of people Lenin was trying to overthrow! X3

No, I think Lenin would denounce Celestia and all she represents. Absolute monarchy doesn't exactly fit into Bolshevik ideals.

Picture is actually designated in 1917, of October (or of that time November, GEORGIAN CALENDER DAMN YOU). Not of 1920, as the Allies invaded it by 1918.

...another thing, Communism was actually ment to be something good. Their ideals were not about tyranny...but its all un good fun right?

I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of communism in any regard. I used to have debates with my teachers on this, they would argue that communism was for the benefit of 'all the people', but I would argue 'at what cost?' But I don't wont to start a big political flame war. 'Tis all in good fun.
But then again every single political ideology works perfectly in theory, (that's the point) it's when you put it into practice that everything falls to pieces.

Actually, Lenin didn't do anything. Stalin was the one who cut off Trotsky (and many other bolscheviks) from pictures.

Yeah I might play around with the levels again. Kinda tricky because Celestia is mostly white, so trying to cut out some of the mid-tones ends up blowing the whites out. I see what you mean though, Cheers
