First, I must say, I love Linkin Park!
This is a great image. I just have a problem with his neck, though. The back of the neck seems to have too much of a bend that it looks like its trying to eat itself inside it. It aso gives off too much of a gap between the jaw and the back of his head.
As well as this, the left hand side of his face looks wierd in some way; it looks too long, if you get what I mean?
The shadows for the arms on his torso, I both love and hate, in a way, as well. I know why you used hard lines to out line the shadow, but inside, the colour seems too weak for it to be a shadow. When I fist saw this, I saw his lower arm, and then I saw this semi-black thing underneith it. At first I though it was like a fish-net belt for show, but it took me a while to register that it was an actual shadow.
To step away from the crits, though, I must say the tattoos are great! I have always adored his tattoos, though I don't want the tattoos on myself. The way you've coloured them and made them fade away into the lesh in parts makes this peice just look stunning, I must say!
The shading for his skin and his pants looks really cool and very realistic as well. And I believe you have used ink for things such as the can and the mic, which gives out a good effect, too!
I love how you've used the watercolour and salt technique for the background as well. I have always loved that method, and I have always wanted to try it for my watercolour paintings, but it's never worked out for me.
All together, I must say I am both stunned and awed by your work, and cannot believe this has not had any comments until now.
