Anyway, I started this piece back in late 2004. After about a month or so of doing it bit by bit, I finally "finished" around mid november, clocking in at over 200 layers. I tried out a new technique of CGing my drawings, which paid off in the end and made it stand out more than I thought it would. It was all done in Photoshop, just using flats, gradients, the polygon and pen tool, and pattern brushes I created myself.
Since then I've re-edited the image alot, playing with colours and lighting mostly - this recent version featuring quite a few changes from the original with more lighting depth.
