My idea for the 'next big thing' is to have Goofy given his own 'Epic' quest.
As Epic Mickey had a more adult undertone to the game, I thought Goofy could parody it and appeal more to children.
Instead of a paintbrush, Goofy's item is a clock that sends him through to different time periods, and the player has to try and help Goofy get home to Max
