Honestly all Homu has accomplished is peaking Loreal's interest in hiring herMahou shojo bros talkin about their problems. Or more accurately Homura describeing time travel to Kyo. And Kyoko being like ok Homu this kinda sounds melodramatic (like my back story) are you totaly sure about this?

Well first of all why was all this ruckus over homu when Saya my literal blue angel was being so perfect and magical like ??? Um excuse me Sayaka was so good!!!!!

Rebellion was sooooo good, and I know everyone was upset about Homura, but the plot line seemed a natural extension from the events in the original anime. Maybe it's because I knew that something was going to happen that I wasn't as shocked about Homura, but any character growth from where the series left her would have innately been negative, unless she became a guardian of other magical girls (which she really wouldn't, her focus was Madoka, and honestly Homura loved her so much that she became all that mattered....all that can come from that is madness). Also, I 105% loved the interaction between Charlotte and Mami, especially after the point where they revealed that they were in Homura's maze, so that she's chosen (in a way) for Mami to have a companion (despite past negative experiences with Mami. also her reflection on Mami made it clear that she does like Mami, but Mami had to but heads with her in order to fullfill her mission of saving Madoka). Homura's maze was actually the most interesting part of the narrative for me, because you eventualy realize that the way this world works isn't by chance......I suspect that Homura's maze is the world she had wanted to see, but failed to reach, and perhaps only saw pieces of in all the time lines she traveled. Kyoko's affection for Saya is pretty clearly noted, and I believe that Homura saw pieces of devotion in all other timelines as well, but her inability to protect many different girls never resulted in their happiness, yet ultimately within the maze they are allowed to be together, even live together. And as well as that Homura's true affections for the others are shown more clearly here, the respect and affection the others had for her is clear. Sayaka even warns her that if she likes this world she can continue it, and Sayaka knows the entire time that she is trapped. Maybe from the series, or maybe after, the girls all make it clear that Homura's earned their affection and respect, and she is a valueble member of this little magic family. When Homura realizes she is a witch herself, she looses it, and that is where I think the changes in her character occurs, and that she somewhat looses herself after her dive into the insanity of being a witch. Sayaka's decent into witch form was not riddled with the extra psychological factors like Homura's, and that's why I believe she recovered from witch form when Homura could not. Homura retains her mind, I mean I'm not saying that she's lost the ability to think, but I believe that something in her brain or personality is irreversively changed when she becomes a witch herself, and that is why she chooses the path of becoming a devil when Madoka, her most important person, is right in front of her. This isn't desiese, but this change does fundamentally change the way she will approaches her love interest romanticaly from healthy to manipulative. Now she wants to have Madoka so completely that she owns her, not nessicarily carring about Madoka's feelings about her own freedom.
Also the lack of Nagisa actualy doing shit that gives her a personaliy was dissappointing. But really I love the movie and the art was amazinggggg.
