Description
This is another picture drawn by my best freind ~G-Rex, and colored by me. The original was traditional pencil and paper, but the coloring was done digitaly. He could tell you more about the creature, but apparently the experiment is top secret. So the details are unknown. lol
You can see the original line work at: [link]

I really like the whole "incomplete" theme here.
The shading is nice but a more realistic one would be better. It appears the light is too intese(highlights). Also, if I remember correctly, there is a lizardman monster and a big arm monster in the series. This one however is more aqua like. Finally, the color transition between areas is marvelous.

Thank you very much.
As much as I wish I could take all the credit, the line work was done by a friend of mine, G-Rex. He doesn't color any of his stuff, so I asked him if I could take a swing at this one. I guess part of the reason I didn't shade it too darkly was so his linework would still show. But yes, I do agree it is a bit too bright. Some darker shading could have helped it pop.
And yes, he designed it as sort of a mix of the two creatures I believe you're refering to. The Tyrent and the ... uh. Can't think of the other one's name. lol

I agree. The credit goes to G-Rex though. All I did was the coloring.

At first I thought you were referring to the artwork itself as a failed experiement, I was gonna say "it's too good to call it that" But yeah, definetily looks like he's fresh out of the liquid-filled tube that every mad scientist owns

Yeah I thought that after I posted it too. It would't let me type a longer name, so unfortunatly that was the best I could do.

I think that's where a lot of the inspiration came from but I only colored it, so I can only make an educated guess.

Inspiration did indeed come from the Resident Evil series.
