An assortment of doodles from my sketchbook this last semester. Not that anyone knows or cares enough about the characters in these storylines to keep anything straight, but here's some notes on what's going on in a more or less left-to-right, top-to-bottom order:

1. Eva Rose Arbane (Adan and Ellire's daughter) introducing Captain Erulin Mor to her squirrel dragon companion, Pudding. This is prob just after she officially left her father's ship to join's Erulin's crew. Sintra Mei, Erulin's mute right hand with some nifty magic tattoos, still hasn't taken a liking to the new girl.

2. In some storyline Zanna traveled back in time and rescued her spouse as a child from being sold into slavery, only to return back to the present day to find a completely different world than the one she left. Instead of the soft-spoken and selfless doppeler she'd married, she was reunited with a Kai who was arrogant, manipulative, and even cruel.

3. From a set of drawings of fantasy creatures I'd designed for different climates in Arpleia. The harisq (left) is mount used for desert travel in the countries of Uramwi and Taozolin, while squirrel dragons are a weird mixture of squirrel monkey and bat, about the size of a house cat, and native to the jungles of Melanze. I'll go ahead and include the snake thing in this batch as well since it's from the same thing: that's Bathseaa, a basilisk with a thick white hide and front claws used for burrowing into the snow. It lives in the country of Glyciilk and is believed to be the only of its kind.

4. At one point Ellire traveled to Uramwi with the intention of robbing their national bank. Instead she ended up kidnapping Crown Prince Jeuru, who she kept in her custody for about a month as she held him for ransom.

5. Ellire "Mal Dovah" Greenleaf and her new husband Adan Arbane fooling around their throne on the island of Helda Leitha, which Ellire bought for Adan and over the course of a decade the lovers turned the abandoned banana plantation into their own country to rule primarily as a haven for pirates.

6. A couple o' dragon OCs. Aeron is a poison dragon, blue and yellow in color and slender and pointy, with claws at the end of his wings, and the ability to spit acid and breath a toxic gas. He protects (and is practically worshipped by) the city-state of Dragontown in Gnostaira, which Ellire helped found once upon a time in her early adventuring days. Tynero, or Ty, is a black dragon, with a considerably stronger but less agile build, capable of breathing fire. Zanna rescued him from smugglers as an egg and is his rider until she eventually passes this on to her daughter Kalina. (Pudding is standing beside them for a size comparison.)

7. My friend's character Siral, an orc who's generally making an effort to be a good person despite her overwhelming fear of social interaction.

8. A BUNCH of naughty Ellire and Adan scribbles for no reason other than I love drawing these two.

9. Jon-Paulo "JP," is Captain Arbane's half-elf deckhand/stable boy on the Rutha Tel'Ear until he eventually climbs the ranks and over the course of ~20 years becomes Adan's first mate. Ellire initially bought him as a slave in Psemerna (and by bought I mean she stole him), but despite their expectancy for him to be subservient to them, Adan made it clear to JP that he was free to leave the Rutha any time he wanted. And when JP stuck around, Adan started seeing him almost like an adopted son, although he'd never say so to his face. And that made it incredibly awkward when he first learned that JP was sleeping with his daughter on top of being twice her age.

10. Kendelgraph, the Orc of the Hali Woods (aka Hollywood Orc). He's an actor with the Follies, a theater troupe based in Target, the capital of Gnostaira, and unbelievably self-important. He also speaks in the third person and no one is really sure why.

11. Half-drow and ex-monk Tan Bao "Lady K" Ju and "Dragon Slayer" Oseram, her quarter-giant boyfriend who she eventually marries. The two of them met with the shared goal of getting revenge on the Mal Dovah, who had slaughtered everyone at the monastery Ju grew up at in the Saint Makran's Massacre and in an entirely unrelated incident murdered Oseram's mother held his brother Theo captive for half a year.

13. The Gnostairan royal family with Lito as King and Keema as his wife from Uramwi. From left to right: Princess Zoe, Queen Keema, King Lito Romaine, Prince Teleus, and Princess Isel. Technically Lito is Ellire's half-brother, although if he believes it to be true, he'll deny it with every fiber of his being.
