Far off the coast of the nearest land mass exists a cluster of islands arranged in a spiral formation. The islands were born from the volcano which lies in the center of the spiral. Also born from the volcano was a guardian spirit. The island people call this spirit Lualani Uhane (volcano-sky spirit) and the volcano which she guards Aina Hanau (birthplace). It is said that when the spirit first appeared, ash billowed from the volcano and mixed with the clouds, causing a swirling effect within the ashen sky. From this came a star which fell to Aina Hanau, landing somewhere near its peak. The spirit Lualani now protects all of the islands, keeping them safe from intruders, as well as people who may want to do the spirit or the people harm. The people believe that they are now safe from the volcano as long as the spirit remains appeased. The people worship Lualani Uhane and make offerings and sacrifices in her name. Though the spirit has only been seen a handful of times throughout the history of the islands, the volcano has not erupted for almost a thousand years.

Smoke Teleport: Lualani can turn into somewhat of a smoke form to teleport around within her eyesight

Lava Manipulation: If there is lava near, Lua can move it, transform it, or use it as a weapon

Venomous Tail: Like a scorpion, Lualani's horn, located at the tip of her tail, produces a venom that, when pierced into skin, can kill within minutes

Fire Resistance: Lualani is resistant to, and even prefers, extremely high temperatures.
Appearance:
Face: left eye is bright red, right eye is light gray; nose like a sheep
Skin: Ashy gray in color and tough; made to withstand the heat.
Legs: sheep-like
Tail: length of tail furry with horn at the tip; puff of fur encircling tip of tail at base of horn
Upper body: Human except for the color
Wings: bat-like wings that originate from the hip and ascend upward to be level with her ears
Fur: Black puffs of fur (like a sheep) encircling wrists and tip of tail at base of the horn. There is a line of coarse dark gray fur (like a goat) starting at the base of her neck and running down her spine to her tail, getting thicker as it descends.
Extras:
-Guards a volcano in the middle of a group of spiral shaped islands
-Lives in a den near the top of the volcano
-Has patches of scales under her eyes, across the bridge of her nose, and on her shoulders and upper arms. This assists in protecting her from the heat.
