As new life was created, old was sent out. The respectable leader had passed. Many mourned for her, as did the beta. However they must hurry on their journey to reach the Moonwheel of Shipwreck Reef. After allowing grief to wash over the clan, the beta and medicine dog headed to their destination.

A cloudy night made it difficult to see the stars, though some shown through. Ripplehaze hesitated to enter the beach, his paws shaking. With Silvermist as his witness he stepped forwards. He made a conscious mind to walk gracefully as his pup taught him previously. Upon entering the area new to him, he glanced around taking it in. At first he sat at the ocean's water, taking in the beauty. The clouds seemed to disappear here, leaving reflecting stars along the water. It was beautiful.

Further into the night, he received his five lives. His new name shall reign, Ripplestar.

Lightpuddle. "With this life I grant you to the courage to move forwards."

Rushstrike. "With this life I grant you to find friends in unlikely places."

Quietbreeze. "With this life I grant you to learn and grow further than before."

Blackmask. "With this life I grant you tenacity to seize every chance given."

Badgerstar. "With this life I grant you a life for exploring beyond borders."

Touching his head to his leader, he cried out. Guilt, fear. It didn't have enough time to boil, it felt as if it shot through his head. Is this really what she felt? It didn't surprise him considering the conditions. He recalled to the previous events before putting his head down. There he paid his respects.

"I hail you by your new name, Ripplestar. Your old life is no more. You have now received the five lives of a leader, and StarClan grants you the guardianship of RiverClan. Defend it well; care for young and old; honor your ancestors and the traditions of the warrior code; live each life with pride and dignity."

Ripplehaze has become Ripplestar. This is a sad time for not only Ripple, but me personally. Badgerstar was a good leader, and she's been a good admin and friend. It's heartbreaking to see her leave the group. She's been there since the beginning of this group for me. Either way, with as much respect as I can give, Ripplehaze has ranked up to become leader.
