I simply love all the Femsheps on Aira's lap artworks, and had a urge to do one myself. So I used my day on this one. I keep wondering if Jack sits by her normal table, and realized it's Shepard crashing the queens lap. xDRelated content

I imagine that Aria's smart enough to realize that Shepard's not one of her usual playthings, so she tries to act all cool, yet she cannot resist the commander and subconsciously caresses her hair.
Whoever captured this moment better go into hiding quickly...

Yeah, she properly does. Petting her and what not. Though, lets say Shepard is a cat, then Shepard owns Aria.

I practically do everything digitally these days, but I'm not always good with poses, I used a reference screenshot of Aria inside purgatory for this one, and some research on lap sleeping too. xD I usually have a huge mess of layers. When I'm done I have a group with sketched, ditched layers, lineart and colours. Sometimes a backup too.

Nothing wrong with using references! And that's cool. I colour with my tablet, but I'm a bit scared to draw freehand with it!
