Description
I was inspired by the work of Spaz and Richard Elson in the American and British versions of the Sonic the hedgehog comics.I absolutley love the casino themed levels from the original games, the bumpers are just as iconic as the checkerboard landscapes.
Characters copyright Sega, Artwork copyright me.

This is awesome You've captured the classic character designs perfectly here! I love how you did their poses, very dynamic. The colouring and shading is really nice, too.

Thanks, I did this on my downtime at work, a few motion lines in my rough really helped the characters pop out of the image Although I love all the different versions of Sonic, I do miss them not being as illustrative as they used to be. I'm from a generation where box art helped sell a game ya see

Man, I love the classic games and the character designs and artwork. Nice coloring in this piece by the way, the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this was Spring Yard from Sonic 1, and the interesting color scheme used in Sonic 1 and Sonic CD in general. Great work!

Thanks, I love the colour palletes the Genesis/Mega Drive games had, very much like any anime of the time, vibrant and appealing!

Excellent work on this.
