I absolutely love the dialogue you wrote here - Felix's monologuing especially
Meanwhile since everyone's doing it, I bring you my imagined ending to this scenario:
Felix dropped Jaune onto the cold unforgiving ground and pulled out his cold, unforgiving pistol, watching with sadistic glee as the blonde writhed in agony on the ground. Their gazes locked for one last time, and a cruel smile curled onto the mercs lips.
"Goodbye Jaune"
He chuckled menacingly, right before he pulled hard on the trigger....
Blood splattered across Jaune's face, his eyes burst open with shock and time seemed to stop as Felix slowly looked down towards the all too familiar sword piercing his chest...
"Dude..." Tucker said from behind him, "...you really need to learn to shut the fuck up"
With that, the energy sword was removed from the mercenaries stomach, leaving him to drop to his knees, the pistol falling out of his shaking hands. The blonde hunter and the aqua trooper watches as their adversary fell to the floor. Dead.
"Thank fuck for portal cubes and alien bikes!" Tucker mused as he switched off his weapon.

Hehe. I'm pretty sure that's how Felix will die in the show to be honest: He'll be in the middle of a big monologue and someone (preferably Tucker) will catch him off guard and take him out.
At least, that's how I'd love for him to go xP

I keep thinking that if Juane heard Felix's voice it would scare him of similar his voice sounds. Plus, if Juane meet the Reds and blues they might think he's Felix without his armor. Or Caboose can say that his a different person.

well there is a small difference in their voices, Felix is much more confident and sounds more badass while Jaune sounds like a wimp
plus the Reds and Blues are dumb but they aren't that dumb, the took on the space pirates and ended a civil war
