techncally both Baum and Gregory Maguire created Elphie, since Maguire worked off of the work of Baum and this is based primarily on Maguire's work.

i love the picture though. the expression is priceless!

and sorry to sound anal. i was corrected on this myself, when i once cited Elphaba as solely Maguire's creation.
