I'm still holding the theory that Anthony is controlling her somehow.
That scene where he contacted her and zimmy had to punch him away was too strange not to be important...

ah yeah, i think a couple people pointed out in the last comment a couple parallels to chapter 38 (like the bone spikes and annie's face looking like the mask)
i wanna know more about zimmy and what happened in that chapter
