Description
A re-imagination of my Star Wars OC, Commander Rhys. With a new design for both phases of the Clone Wars, and also a new backstory. The Original photo used is credited to IgorKutuzov: www.deviantart.com/igorkutuzov…Name: CT- 4641 "Rhys"
Home world: Kamino
Gender: Male
Race: Human (Clone)
lived: 32- 19 BBY (13 years old but artificially aged to around 35)
Personality: Rhys is a serious soldier who keeps his focus on the mission, like most clones he is fiercely loyal to his brothers and to the Galactic Republic, he has also formed a bond with his Jedi General that by the end had become a deep friendship. In the heat of battle Rhys manages to keep a level head and can alter plans on the fly.
When he learned of the inhibitor chips Rhys was shocked and angry that such a thing would be placed in him and his brothers and by the time of his death he had proven himself to be more than just a soldier, but also a good man
Affiliations: Galactic Republic, Jedi Order, Clone Army
-BACKSTORY-
-CREATION
Created with thousands of other clones on Kamino, Rhys was designated as CT - 4641 and taking on the name after graduating as a cadet. Soon he and his brothers were sent to Geonosis to aid the Jedi in the ensuing battle against the separatists. There Rhys showed his valor and courage as he fought against countless Battle Droids
-PHASE 1
Shortly after Geonosis Rhys was assigned to the 283rd legion under Emmerich Dasharr, who was a bold and eccentric Jedi Knight from Stewjon. Rhys was appointed as commander of the entire legion and led the charge with his men and General many times on countless different worlds, earning as much of a reputation as other noteworthy Clones such as Rex and Cody
-PHASE 2
Rhys and General Dasharr helped out on many missions such as the second conflict on Felucia, and the battles of Kiros, and Kadavo. Rhys, Emmerich, and his troops were engaged in the battle of Ringo Vinda where a Clone Trooper named up abruptly executed Jedi General Tiplar in the middle of battle and would have nearly killed Emmerich had the trooper not been restrained. Concerned Rhys followed to trooper back to Kamino to study him and find out what had happened eventually leading to the death of Arc Trooper Fives and the reveal of the Clone inhibitor chips. While everyone dismissed the troopers claims Rhys took it seriously enough to have
an off the record procedure to remove it. Shortly before the battle of Courscant Rhys and the 283rd were sent to a remote moon to investigate rumors of the Separatist army invading the planet.
-ORDER 66
Shortly after arriving they took control, finding no droid army anywhere. Rhys informed General Dasharr and the legion awaited his arrival to discuss what to do next, while waiting the supreme chancellor activated order 66, causing the clones to change. Rhys noticed something was wrong as soon as Emmerich had landed. With the clones pointing their weapon at the Jedi, he froze unaware as to what was happening until Rhys stepped forward, without the inhibitor chip he was able to refuse the order. The Commander ushered Dasharr away to a disclosed location to "execute" him. Away from the rest of the clones he informed Emmerich that something had happened and that he was not be safe. The two talked and then Rhys fired his blaster into the ground, walking forwards to keep the clones distracted. While he ordered his troops to prepare to leave, Emmerich slowly crept back to his starfighter, until one of the clones noticed him and opened fire, Rhys hesitantly then pulled out his pistol and kept the clones at bay while the Jedi climbed into his vessel and took off. As the ship lifted off the air the clones overpowered Rhys, cutting him down in a sea of blaster fire, killing him where he stood.
After his death Rhys was remembered as a traitor to the new Galactic Empire, but as a hero to Emmerich, who regarded him as a loyal soldier to the very end.
