Yeah. Plus this version of Superman kinda makes me think of the actual face of that alien dog Amber from Scooby Doo and the Alien Invaders.
Maybe this universe's version of Supergirl resembles Crystal's true alien form to reflect that?

great redesign, it's humanoid but truly alien in that it doesn't have any human textures, this would fit in the Man of Steel movie, as your Kryptonians look biomechanical.

I'd say though that perhaps shape shifting isn't an inherent power, but rather? He only has two forms he can take. The human Clark Kent and the alien Superman his ship changing his physical appearance to the first sentient being that touched the ship, in this case Johnathan and Martha Kent. Able to switch back and forth at will.

I'm working on an Aquaman, just don't have any orange or green pencils haha. I was just sketching around a random creature at a con and halfway through I was like "what if this was superman?" so I turned it into that.
