Description This is a contest entry for the contest is to create a fish fakemon but the type is not supposed to be water as most fishes. So I have this idea of a swordfish species in the form of various swords as it develops. The first stage starts as a treasured dagger fish, the second stage is a giant butcher knife fish, and the final stage is a Japanese blade fish that is flexible but yet sharp while having razor-like fins. The first two stages are pure steel types, but the last one is a dual type of steel/fighting type.

I've seen quite a few steel swordfish types, but I like the shapes of these guys - the handle-shapes of the tails and the katana-like nature of the final evolution looks great. A good example of integrated design, great work!

For this challenge, you have been I just meant in general they're a common theme. You get those sometimes, but that doesn't mean they should be avoided - just as long as you add a new take on it, that's the important part.

You're right about that, I feel pretty good about this. Like you said as long as I do a new take on this I should have no worries.
