The edges of the sword were covered in Polly Filler and sanded back, then given a few thin layers of Spray Filler and gently sanded back with Wet & Dry Paper.The handle was attached by cutting out a slot in the sword for it to slot into and glued firmly into place with some Epoxy Resin, and the Resin Casts have also been glued on.
