I keep imagining that those arms whip and thrash around as it crawls, like they're desperate to touch anything.
I also imagine it making a whistling noise simply because of the speed of the scythes through the air.
Maybe I'm over-analyzing a little.

Random thought: what if the images it displayed were mostly faces, but
when it got close enough it would display pictures of you
And the closer it got, the more dead looking/distorted those images became.
