.remember kids: to prevent spontaneous combustion, ingest a serving of FULL VIEW with every meal.
All of the characters i have created thus far for [IMPORT GROVE] my unborn manga. i intend to kick it off soon...
-Itsuke: main man up in front with the green hair Means of Combat: kung fu with a hint of supernatrual asswhoop
-Tonichi: top-left blue hair, rockin out on air. MOC: kung fu with a hint of supernatural asswhoop.
-Lilith: middle-left lolita goth. MOC: witchcraft.
-Carley: bottom-left domo-kun shirt. just enjoying some one-on-one time with her PSP. MOC: still in the works.
-Sayuri: to the right of Tonichi. her life deteriorates as she clings to the past. MOC: none.
-Ellise: right below Sayuri, orange sweater. she's totally ordinary.youre my best friend if you understand the sweater decal. MOC: none.
-Hideo: right below Ellise. he's corporate ninja on a mission. MOC: katana, ninjutsu.
-Kurai: the manifestation of angst in the top-right corner. disturbed. family history drowned in blood. MOC: to be revealed later.
-Rob: upper left side of Kurai. teacher at Greenhill High and mentor to Itsuke and Tonichi. seemingly ordinary... MOC: unknown.
-Bet & "The Big" Kusanagi: two members of the Kusanagi yakuza organization sent to Sashikomi Grove assigned as guardians to Tonichi. MOC: katana.
-Jamie: right below Kurai, purple hair. beautiful. nurse assistant at Greenhill High. MOC: still in the works.
-Tansainen (left):bottom-right corner in classroom. "OMG teh hotnezz!!!" says a witty fangirl. #1 ichiban ranked fighter in all of Sashikomi Grove. MOC: muay thai fighting style.
-Kazunobu (right): mysterious kid. oddly-shaped hair that resembles cat ears. kittykitty. MOC: ?
i have to give more in-depth descriptions of the characters some other time...

the art is fantastic, i'm amazed you can get so many characters onto that picture, and make it look so perfect.
sometimes when people draw pictues like that it seems crowded, but this one, seems to give each character it's space and make it looks so fantastically drawn. ^^

i don't think you ever gave a description of what the story itself was about :3
also, don't overdo it when it comes to character designs, I can see you're writing about a school, but for every character (especially the schoolkids), you should have a biography or a character buildup of some sort, dont just slap on an eyecolor, a hairstyle, and a height and let them roam around your story, that isn't very nice. and and, good luck on your manga!

no, not the cover. its just art to show the progression of the story. its probably too busy for a cover, eh?
the thing about import grove is that i didnt just want to make a beat-em-up-high-school manga. all the characters will go through a transition throughout the story. one way to easily convey that is by appearance, so i pimp 'em out
