O_o... errrr..... god damnit.... fuck...... .... wow, It's hard to keep myself from tearing up my drawing, but I'm fighting it.... Probably because it took so long to work on... do me a favour and put up a tutorial... yeah? please? PLEASE??? I wanna know how you colored the skin so effectively to give it that nice "masamune shiiro" shine... (Masamune is the guy who did Ghost in the Shell) and how you got the scarf to look like that... PLEASE??? I'm begging... on my knees.... and how you colored the hair too? I'm still a noob to photoshop, and I can't find a decent " how to" book out there, so all I can do is ask around... please...... PLEASE..... PLEEEEEAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSE help me....... please?

hey hey settle down. i know how it is bro. ehm, about the tutorial, i suppose i might try one sometime, but im still quite a noob to photoshop and have lots to explore. the scarf, however, is quite simple. first, i selected choice sections, using the polygon lasso. then, i used a textured brush (one that came with PS), which i modified the depth of a bit and made it "subtract". next, i chose so colors (oranges, reds, yellows) and laid down some texture with the brush. finally, i layered some strokes of 50% of the lighter colors, such as, Orange onto Red i doubt youll need that technique anytime soon (prolly the only time ill do it), but it helps to know, right? also, i think itd look good if used in a manga!
phew, longest comment ever...

SUTEKI DA NA~ I can definately tell you spend a lot of time on this one. It looks professional. Although I can see how you had trouble with the scarf. Did you try curving the weeves to make it look more 3d?
::continues to stare::.....I thought your regular sketches were amazing but dude... You're AwEsOmE at CG!
