Ah this is so cool! I've been reading the Dune series and I knew exactly which scene this was before reading yr description. Leto II (especially in God Emperor) is my favorite character in Dune and you captured him perfectly!

I had forgotten all about this scene, and will have to re-read it.
This is a great piece of work Sketchphase. I never thought Leto II would still look like a little boy after he took on his "Golden Path"
It amazes me how much variance there is between people's views of these books. Ghanima looks different in my head, more fragile somehow, and you do get the impression that she is trying to pull away from Leto II.

Not sure. It was Golden Path in another language and I'm not sure if it's a real world language or one that the author made up. For instance the Fremen language is based on Arabic but Fremen itself isn't a real language.

I think it was a language that no living person remembered and they decided to use it. Not even Alia could figure it out even with all her bene gesserit knowledge. Now THAT's an ancient language.

I remember Leto II and Ghanima as the twins of Paul Atreides and his wife Chani, and how they fought against their assassins in Children of Dune. I remember seeing the TV miniseries, though it was a bit mediocre. But it was interesting nonetheless, though probably not as good as the original novel. I read a little of the novel Children of Dune, and remembered the twins having their adventures. BTW, good pic!
