This Grimlock is my least favorite incarnation, sadly. Actually, he's not even IN my favorites, I despise this version greatly, and it's not even Grimlock's fault, it's how the creators of TFA portrayed him. He was a coward in TFA, a utter coward. That just insults the very NAME of Grimlock. All Meltdown had to do was merely touch his leg and the poor thing would suck up to him like a frightened puppy. In the majority of the show, Grimlock and the other Dinobots were SLAVES. Can I ask a question? Would the real Grimlock let himself be enslaved by anyone? NO. The REAL Grimlock would MURDER Meltdown if he so much as laid one hand on him. Now, about Grimlock's other slave owner, Blackarachnia.... Grimlock being a love slave to her is the stupidest fucking thing I have ever seen. The Dinobots despise ANYTHING with a Decepticon insignia. Grimlock would still total Blackarachnia. I also dislike the fact Grimlock didn't get along with Optimus or side with the Autobots (at least not officially). I know Grimlock and Optimus don't see eye to eye often, but in the G1 series, they were still friends. I wanted Optimus and Grimlock to be friends in TFA, but instead the show gave me something else. I don't consider this "Grimlock" to be GRIMLOCK, but rather, this is a clone. The ONLY redeeming quality of this CLONE is his design, thats it. A amazing G1 design that was sadly wasted.
