Description
Despite the semi-serious tone in this comic, this is utter crack. Nothing in this little comic makes any sense, if you think about it for a bit. I mean it's Red Alert riding Grimlock, which isn't anything that happens everyday.Anywhoo, I had ton of fun drawing the pics, especially the middle one was fun to do. I took reference from my own Red Alert toy, that actually rides a Tyrannosaurus toy.
I tried all kinds of techniques while drawing this, so this is also an experiment, like actually most of my pics are. I've never drawn Grimlock before and I most definitely have not drawn desert before, but it was all fun.

Mutta hienoltahan tuo näyttää. Blurria voisi vähän olla vähemmän taustassa. Ja vinkkinä toiseen ruutuun, yläkulma saa näyttämään pieneltä, mutta alhaalta kuvattuna tulee vaikutelma suuresta.

Juu tuon jälkeen olenkin yrittänyt vähentää blurria eli käyttää voimaakkaampia brusheja teko vaiheessa.
Juu nuo perspektiivit on aina olleet heikkous meikäläiselle siis lähinnä siksi, että tuppaan aina piirtämään samasta perspektiivistä. Tosin siis ihan vitsimielessä koko sarjis piirretty, niin en kiinnittänyt niin paljon huomiota.

I love how the "bill" of Red's helm totally works for shading his face like a cowboy's hat
The only time you draw ol' Grimmy and he's being submissive to an office bot (aka "not a real warrior."). And the list of "be glad that TFs don't actually exist" reasons keep growing

That is one of the reasons I chose Red for the job and the other one being that my own Red Alert toy actually rides a T-Rex
Usually people draw Grimmy as a scary monster or otherwise badass, but I go ahead and draw him as a packmule horse
The list would be so long at this point that I would probably be as good as dead. I'm glad that they don't exist - I am kinda attached to my life XD

that's cool you have fun there, haha and here never tryed to draw a desert but maybe I have to try, specially that I love to do backgrounds without linearts only with my pencils and never knows who the background could end XDDD (and you know now why sometimes I prefer photoshop because it's fun to do my technique but takes a lot of time

Yeah, it takes quite a long time to make it even with computer, so the amount of time spent on making background by hand is even longer. The results look awesome though
