This one is also an old picture. From the Calanthra exchange for PE which I was late for *shame* I never heard back from so I'm not quite sure if she liked this or not, or even got it? Though I sent it to her several ways, if you're reading this Erisdoll, did you get it??? In anycase I'm very happy with it!This is her Calanthra (same race as Physalis also posted in my gallery) Red Clover. She's a gorgeous character and it was very interesting and fun working with her porportions. I tried to keep it as true to her design as I could :] But I think that I am most pleased with the background as I did it totally from scratch, it's probably the most complicated background I'd done at the time, maybe even still, it's not perfect but I'm proud of it all the same
I have a slightly different version of this one too, with I'll probably post in my scraps.

i love the girl, her anatomy, teh colors you used, the way you shaded..
I also like the background...
But somehow, I get this feeling that the character and the background don't fit together...like, they're in totally different styles...

Red and green oddly go together, or it just takes a artist like yourself, also love how the βtattooβ below her neck looks. The only problem is she look as if she is bending to one side to keep from falling. Lmaoβ¦

Glad to hear that! I didn't use any textures on this one actually lol! I just layered up lots and lots and spammed a couple of the more textured looking defult brushesfor the moss and stuff
