Description Took and developed this in grade 11 at my old highschool, on black and white film since we hadn't learned colour developing yet. It was raining that day and so this willow tree looked really misty. I used this for a part of my final photography project. Though my teacher really liked the picture I did really poorly on the assignment...to quote him "It's a credit to your ability Lindsay that you even passed without any of the paper work - 55%" hehe ^-^; I should have done the paperwork...

"This photo takes part in the 'scenery and landscape contest'. For more info read *ssilence journal".

I love this picture! I wrote an article about willow called 'Silver Trees in the Dark' and this perfectly captures the ghostly lore that accompanies this old tree. Many Thanks!

I just finished it. The tree doesn't actually look like it.. more like it's been inspired of, but you can still go and see if you want.

Yeah thanks^^ It'll be posted on deviant so I'll come and let the link once it's done. But I bet it'll take a long while. It'll be my first "real" painting after all.

I love your work and am a Star Wars fan myself.....

I am doing a computer class project and what we are doing is we are findinf a picture that we like and then we customize it to out liking.

I came across this picture and loved it!! What my idea was, I have a poem that is about faeries and it involves a willow tree so what I would do is put my poem over the picture to use it as a background.

May I use this picture as apart of my project? I will be sure to put your name on it to credit you if you like.

Oh please!! I would be forever grateful...

Please respond as soon as you can....

I love the perspective, and how the picture is almost monochromatic. It gives it a more desolate feel.

LOL, this is an awesome photograph, as are your other ones. But this one is my favouritel. It's just something about the contrast...and the fact that it's a Willow. I love willows

You should make prints! I'd buy one for sure
