Started out as a doodle. I've been thinking about typography a lot lately. Partly because is a typographical genius and partly because it's kinda sorta related to my thesis.Lettuce, it turns out, is much more challenging than I had expected.
Cross-hatching FTW! ... Okay, it's not really cross-hatching, but "Hatching FTW!" doesn't have the same ring to it.
Anyone who wants to color this is welcome to it, so long as you credit. Also, let me know. I so totally want to see that

It's a nursery rhyme come to life! That second grazing cow will jump over the moon. Now I have to ask how long did this take? Typography is pretty cool and must be difficult as all get up. I don't even know how to make backslashes. This kind of reminds me of a drawing my friend did where he gridded a portrait of himself and in each box it was filled with random patterns or pictures to create one large picture if that makes any sense.

It took about a week's worth of Bones episodes. I tend to doodle when the TV's on. The lettuce was actually the hardest part. Who'da thunk green leafies would be so diabolical?
I think I know what you're talking about with your friend's picture. Is it on DA by any chance?
