So apparently, Disney has been given this lovely fox a bit of attention, but mostly in merchandise. The most I’ve seen was a plush ( sta.sh/0r3uejlfcjv), which a good friend of mine shown me, and this doll/figurine that I somehow stumbled upon ( sta.sh/03weidxye1q). I found it quite lovely and, of course me liking the vixen a lot, wanted to make a doodle of her in the outfit. The Marian figure was packaged with a Robin Hood one and there was artwork for the two ( sta.sh/01goscbc28v0). Since the figure and artwork had slightly different colors for her dress, I tried to use both for reference.

I've seen Maid Marian dressed in the pink-and-purple dress so often, it didn't even click with me that she could be wearing other things. But I can say this: she looks just as stunning as ever.

Yeah, like I said in the description, it's based on a dress she wears for this special, exclusive toy/doll of her with Robin.

Oh my Disney!! I thought this was just another fan art, but it's official!!
And I thought only the Disney Princesses get more beautiful redesigns. Unless, Disney is changing the rule so that animal heroines can be included!

I'm sure Marian's new look is for this figure series in particular and they'll keep her usual pink/purple attire, which is understandable to say the least. I'm just glad that she is getting more love, the doll and plush being examples. And maybe, they might do just that, include the animated heroines and I think it'll be well-deserved.
