So, skinny, chubby, and fat! Did he gain the weight on purpose, or did it just happen gradually over time? It also appears that his tail got much larger, his hair got longer, and he apparently outgrew his pants.

It's a mix of i'm being an overly large eater for his small stature, combined with his sister being an excellent cook, on top of him definitely liking soft bodies c:

The same way the rest of him did. Β However, he did let the fur get as long as it could be manageable.

Oh, so his tail is fat too? I have to give you points for that. A lot of people leave the tail the same size while the rest of the body fattens up, as if the tail doesn't even contain fat cells. I didn't realize he could grow his fur out like that.

Fat and furry. Β I don't do this a ton, I just try to keep it proportional to the rest of their body, but for this character, and my mouse character, specifically, I think it makes it a little more adorbable c:
