and the end is near...i anticipate korra going crazy in avatar mode in next weeks finale.i think korras going to harness spirit energy to combat kuvira's mech. so sketched that out.

What I like about this version is, that Korras mouth is open like she is screaming. So she looks more furious and the scene is more intense. Great drawing.

I love this, Korra looks so amazing! I love your inking! How dose it look so clean? I was just wondering if you use PS or illustrator or another program? Sorry you probably get asked this a lot but I had too! all of your inking looks so natural and flawless! Cant wait to see the end result of this!

Ah, thanks! I do all my work in Manga Studio 5. I'm just using the default ink pen. I would highly recommend the program since it's cheap and he brush system is really good.

Honestly I haven't been watching. Been I heard references that LOK went all EVA on something. So after seeing you sketch it I had to run off and find out. XD
But yeah if she can't control the spirit energy that thing fires (or in general) what fun would this all be?! Let's redirect some spirit energy!

haha, i still watch korra. it's the only show i still invest a lot of effort in and want to do fanart of. kind of sad it will end soon.
i actually wanted to invoke an EVA type vibe -- by i can't do angry faces that well. i ultimately edited her face in the latest update to just be stoic, since the avatar state seems like more of a trance type situation
