EDIT 07-02-11:
Just did a MAJOR update. Recently went back and jazzed up the coloring and shading on him, lightened him up because he's a lot paler than I originally colored him to be. And darkened the lines. Added in a few more details both in the artwork as well as in the listed information, and corrected a few fly-away typos that have apparently been sitting around for months!
But yeah, enjoy! He looks a helluva lot better now!
That and Cyprus is finally up and ready to be looked at now too!

Holy damn this took me for frickin' ever to actually finish!
And I will probably go back much later at some point and want to edit the absolute hell out of it, but I've come way to far with helping *Isika design him for FINAL to turn back now.

OH Thankies! Yes, yes he is. His original creator made sure I made him as pretty yet still boyish-looking as possible. (It's one of those she writes it, I draw it kinda setups lol).

She writes the story and writes out the character sheets, and then I designed all the characters visually around her descriptions, it's turned out pretty good with everybody.
I really like his shirt design too, and the piercings were extremely fun to add. And it was so fun to actually draw, mainly because I actually had a live reference for it since the black corset is modeled after one that I do own, same for the blue shirt. (truth be known we actually bought the pieces for the outfit just to see how it would go together, same for the other characters, helps sooo much!)
He reminds you of an OC of yours? I'd like to see this OC, he already sounds interesting to me ^.^

with drawing or character sheet design or both?
As far as with character sheet design, it takes having a good solid concept so that it will be your #1 go-to as a reference for everything else when you have any doubts as to the details in your character at any point in other future artworks. Always try to make a full body of some sorts. Most use a 360 go-around like with the front, the side views, and the back (I was just too lazy to do that with these and they wear regular clothing and nothing extravagent so for these I felt it a bit much and a tad unnecessary atm. Maybe later as a bigger project or something like that lolololol). Also have it either colored or have a color swatch, along with any small details that they may have such as piercings and tattoos, birthmarks, etc.
For drawing stuff. Gosh, I really don't know what to tell you other than to just go for broke and sound verbatim copy-cat to everybody else and say "practice, practice, practice!". Also, challenge yourself in areas you are weakest in. For instance, my problem area lies in perspective and backgrounds a lot, so I've been trying more and more in my homework assignments and sketchwork when I get to do some to incorporate that as a personal hurdle to overcome so that I can use it regularly some day when I feel more comfortable in it. Another thing is anatomy and proportion. It's not cheating if all you do is use it as a reference. Just about every artist has a reference be it from another drawing or preferably from real life in terms of poses and clothing examples. Experiment too. That one kind of goes hand-in-hand with the challenge bit though. Hmmmm...I feel lame now because I have nothing more that I can think of to possibly tell you.

Izzies are the best OMFG! I absolutely love them ^.^ And I got *Isika so hooked on them that we just had to add it in since he loves fruit flavored things but hates soda so it was perfect LOL. And so far I think the pomegranate ones are the best in flavor cuz it "pops" more to the taste, although I haven't tried all of them yet.
And Thankies too! It was sooooo time consuming but I'm so much more comfortable with his design and he's only getting more and more consistent.
