Description
(Woman to Anthro Fox Pool Toy)“Okay girls, we need something to liven up this party.”
Susan’s statement was greeted by nothing but blank stares. The raven-haired witch sighed. “Come on, guys. You can’t tell me you’re enjoying this! It’s practically dead in here!” She looked to each of her friends in turn, a pleading pout on her face.
Trisha was the first to speak up, though the shy girl played with her ponytail as she did so. “It’s not our fault nobody else knows where this beach is. Or wants to talk to us.” She added as an afterthought.
Lindsay sighed, sitting upright on her beach towel to glare at Susan. “Gee, it’s almost like turning the school’s head cheerleader into a donkey was a bad idea.”
Susan opened her mouth to defend herself, but Megan jumped to her aid, like usual.
“Oh, come on, that was funny! Especially for the look on her face when she exploded out of her clothes!” Megan mimed an explosion with her hands, twiddling her fingers for added effect.
Lindsay couldn’t help but smile at the memory, combing her fingers through her azure hair. “Fair enough.” She admitted. “But my point still stands—we have nobody to blame for this but ourselves.”
Susan pouted, sighing melodramatically. “But we’re witches! The least we could do is make a pool toy.”
“Good idea, Susan!” Lindsay rolled her eyes. “Except for the fact that our parents placed magical locks on us, so we can’t affect anything besides each other.” For emphasis, she held up the back of her hand, a faint pink charm appearing on her wrist like a tattoo.
“W-well, we can still have a pool toy.” Trisha mumbled, looking up at her friends with a faint smile. She held up a set of sticks, one of them a little shorter than the rest. “I read online that we could use these for party games. Looks like that was right.” She finished with a small smile, looking at her friends.
“One for each of us? Sounds fair.” Megan smiled.
Susan gave her friend a funny look. “Come on, I shouldn’t be transformed! I’m the one who’s best at it!”
Megan took the sticks from Trisha, tapping them out so they were even. “So be lucky.” She gave Susan a friendly smile, and her friend sighed.
Quickly, Susan, Lindsay, and Trisha each grabbed a straw, pulling them from Megan’s hand. They all smiled, seeing how their sticks were the same size.
“Wait... What?” Megan blinked, slowly realizing that she was left with the short straw. “Darn.” She pouted slightly.
“Sorry, Megan. But you always were an airhead.” Susan gave her a teasing smile as Lindsay and Trisha backed away from the girl.
“H-hey, we can always do a two out of three.” Megan grinned nervously, but let her friend grab her arm. Like it or not, the rules were the rules.
Megan’s body shuddered as transformative energies worked their way across her form. Almost immediately, her entire body felt lighter, all aches and weariness flying from her mind at once. Instead, she felt a bubbly happiness spread through her, calming her down despite the changes that started to wrack her body.
A large tail sprouted from her rear, and Megan yelped as her butt jolted back with it. She grabbed at the flesh with her hands, finding there was now slightly more of it, and it was a good deal cushionier. Megan’s eyes widened as the surrounding skin turned a bright orange, matching her tail.
Except something was off about her tail... Megan gasped with realization, one of her hands flying to her mouth. Her tail was made of translucent plastic! She wagged it from side to side, quietly amazed at how she could operate it without bones.
“I guess that explains the airhead comment...” Megan laughed weakly as she looked at her friends.
“A foxy airhead. You know, Susan might have a point. I always thought we could see right through you.” Lindsay grinned, staring at Megan’s belly.
The changing girl followed her gaze, squeaking slightly with surprise as she saw her upper body was made of rubber now, the same orange as her tail and most of her lower body. A tickling sensation ran from her nose to between her legs, and she looked down to her chest to find the orange had become white.
Her gaze snapped to her tail as she felt a tingling there, too. Sure enough, the tip of her tail immediately changed colors, as though someone had performed a real-world palette swap. She felt the same changes run across her hands, feet, and... the insides of her ears?
Megan brushed her fingers against her ears, shivering as she brushed them against cool plastic. She tweaked them with her fingertips, realizing that they were now pointed, like cat’s ears. Which meant... Sure enough, a moment later, they were making their way to the top of her head.
Megan had more pressing concerns though, a moan of discomfort escaping her mouth as it stretched away from her head. She smacked her rubber lips together, disconcerted by how dry her mouth felt without the ability to salivate.
The changes swept to her head. Megan’s jaw fell slack as the inside of her head filled with air, followed by the rest of her body. A stiff breeze blew her onto her back, and she lay still for a moment, staring vacantly at the sky.
Then, Megan blinked, her eyelids squeaking slightly as she moved. She shouldn’t have been able to move, her spirit somehow animating her body. She patted her new muzzle up and down, feeling how her rubbery form still had the warmth of flesh.
Megan sat up, rubbing the back of her head. “That felt really funny.” She muttered. The wind picked up again, and Megan yelped, searching for something to hold on to. This time, it didn’t carry her off. She sighed in relief; apparently a soul weighed something after all.
“You look great, Megan!” Trisha smiled, giving her friend a thumbs-up.
“Yeah.” Lindsay nodded in agreement. “Susan made you into some sort of... fox-girl?” She licked her lips slightly, a predatorial grin on her face that completely went past Megan’s notice.
Megan held up her hand, grinning as she watched her friends through the curves of her plastic form. “I feel great! Susan, why don’t y—” Megan’s voice died as Susan picked her up, jumping into the ocean with her.
“Surf’s up!” Susan chimed, swimming a little deeper in. She grinned from ear to ear as Megan’s eyes glazed over, the fox girl’s face frozen mid-sentence.
It was like the changed girl’s mind had left her body, floating into a bubbly haze even as her body floated in the water.
“Oh, did I not mention?” Susan grinned, poking the pool toy’s nose. Megan realized she could still feel the action, just like she could feel the water gently lapping away at her body. “When people play with you, you’ll kind of... check out. It wouldn’t be very fun if you were able to keep us from playing, right?”
Megan would have loved to disagree, but she was unable to. Instead, she floated vapidly in the water, her eyes and mouth open as Susan splashed happily.
“Hey, it’s not that bad.” Lindsay said, swimming over to the two. “After all, I could always do this.” The blue-haired witch sent a torrential wave at Susan, laughing at the stricken girl’s expression. Susan yelped a moment later, the current knocking her a few yards away from Lindsay and Megan.
“Now, what to do with you...” Lindsay cocked her head at Lindsay, a grin on her face. “I know!” She chirped, flipping Megan upside down.
Water rushed into Megan’s mouth and nostrils, and for a moment she worried she’d drown. Then, reason set in, the girl realizing that pool toys didn’t need to breathe. The second that went past her mind, she found herself enjoying the experience, thinking it was much like snorkeling.
Lindsay snaked her arms around Megan’s waist, her thighs straddling around the rubber girl’s tail. Megan would have closed her eyes with relaxation were she able to. Instead, she enjoyed her view of the ocean floor and the feel of the older girl’s body on hers.
“I bet you like that, right?” Lindsay breathed huskily into Megan’s right ear. She moved Megan’s hands so the fox-girl was hugging herself gently; then Lindsay slipped her arms over her friend’s.
Megan started inwardly. That’s right, Lindsay was always the most... forward thinking of the group. She should have expected at least this level of teasing.
“I won’t do anything to you now, since you can’t respond.” Lindsay paused to nibble on Megan’s left ear. “But if you want anything later, just—”
The pressure vanished from Megan’s back, and she heard the faint splash of someone falling into the water a few dozen feet away.
“S-sorry!” Trisha called, quickly flipping Megan onto her back. She stammered, looking into the fox-girl’s frozen eyes. “I-I didn’t mean to send her so far away, but I didn’t want her to harass you either.” She opened her mouth to speak again, but only a loud whinny came from her throat.
Trisha spun to find Susan right behind her, a hand on her friend’s shoulder. “With your ponytail, I figured a hippocampus would be a good fit for you.” The witch’s triumphant gaze quickly became one of panic as Trisha concentrated her own magic. “Oh, no you di—”
Trisha smirked she teleported her friend over to Lindsay. “There, that’s be—HNEE—tter.” She snorted slightly, shaking her head. Megan looked her up and down quickly, seeing that her friend had a fish’s tail instead of legs. It looked like she’d been able to stop the rest of the changes, though. P
Trisha sighed with relief, using her new tail to propel the pair through the water. Her grip was different from Susan’s, and miles apart from Lindsay’s. It was gentle, yet secure enough to keep the fox floatie from drifting away. Megan felt safe in her friend’s arms, and she spaced out for a moment, letting the sound of the waves lull her into an almost-slumber.
The sounds of splashing waves and animal cries disrupted her reverie, and Megan looked at Trisha, trying to express her worry.
As though she could sense her friend’s thoughts, Trisha smiled down at Megan. “W—UHEE—‘ll let them have some fun. I know a good cave to r—EE—lax.” She tossed her head, huffing slightly at her animal instincts. “I’m just lucky I didn’t end up with a horse’s head.” She muttered, her face brightening. “Hey, I didn’t—” Her speech degenerated into a series of neighs and whinnies.
If Megan were able to, she’d have laughed at the expression on her friend’s face. Still, that cove did sound nice, and she never really got a chance to talk to Trisha. Maybe it wouldn’t hurt to spend a little bit of time there, let Susan and Lindsay work out their friskiness... And maybe while they did that, she and Trisha could work out some of theirs.
She laughed inwardly at the thought. Looks like Lindsay had been a bad influence on her after all. Still, it was worth a thought...
