HAHA I hate it when prices go up, especially on star wars items. You should see the prices for the limited edition stuff for Star Wars Celebration

CyberDrone In reply to SKGaleana [2015-04-10 08:55:52 +0000 UTC]
I know those limited edition stuff are pricey. but awesome. Thankfully the Star Wars Rebels figures are still pretty cheap. although you don't get much articulation in the figures. But still they gone up a pound.

Yeah they are very expensive! So what are your favorite figurines to collect in the Star Wars Universe? Do you go for more original Trilogy, Rebels, or whatever is out LOL

CyberDrone In reply to SKGaleana [2015-04-14 09:23:23 +0000 UTC]
I just get figures that i like. Mostly Original trilogy more. but I do get characters i like from the prequels. Darth Maul, clones etc... I've got most of the Rebels figures so far. Still need Sabine and Hera. Plus brands like Lego star wars. hehe
What was the last star wars figure you got then? Mine was 6 inch black series Darth Vader.

umm...cough...Ican never buy just one figure at a time hahaha I collect a lot of the legos. Let's see the last figure I purchased was the R2-KT hot wheels. So Cute

CyberDrone In reply to SKGaleana [2015-04-25 14:59:46 +0000 UTC]
Ain't the Hot Wheels R2-KT the Celebration exclusive?
The last Star Wars lego set i got was the Imperial troop transporter battle pack with the Stormtroopers from Rebels.

BB-8 is adorable but so weird looking. I almost want to play soccer wit the darn thing hahaha. R2 will forever be my favorite, although chopper may be a close second. I love feisty droids

CyberDrone In reply to SKGaleana [2015-05-05 10:11:46 +0000 UTC]
Chopper is cool too! R2 will always be the best. BB-8 Reminds me of a toddler droid. hehe
So what did you do to celebrate Star Wars day then?

SKGaleana In reply to CyberDrone [2015-05-07 09:38:31 +0000 UTC]
I made Dark Side Chocolate Cookies, Jawa Juice, and Space Slug spaghetti. (they sound cool but they were really just chocolate cookies, Sweet tea, and my special spaghetti.) I did wear my Imperial shirt as a small protest to the day being all about Jedis.
What did you do?

CyberDrone In reply to SKGaleana [2015-05-07 12:20:13 +0000 UTC]
Ooo sounds yum and awesome. hehe wearing imperial shirt. dame jedi getting all the attention.
Well i did not do much, but really every day is star wars day to me. I have figures and stuff out all year round. it's like christmas everyday for me. I watched some stuff on star wars on youtube.

That must be so nice. Every day is star wars day. Every time I cook in my kitchen it is that way. I have a darth vader toaster, the r2 measuring cups, an r2 cookie jar, r2 mugs, r2 bowls (still trying to find r2 plates), I want to find r2 towels and I need the Space slug pot holder hehehe

Oh I am sure your action figure collection surpasses mine. Especially since I sold a lot of it in the last few years to move around. I still have a few of my favorites that take up a bit of room hahaha

Do you display your figures and stuff in glass cabinets? I have one. the rest are on shelves and stuff. they get dusty. hehe dusting figures is a pain in the bum. XD
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
SKGaleana In reply to CyberDrone [2015-05-17 09:39:30 +0000 UTC]
Many of the action figures I kept are in Plastic containers that keeps the dust off the figures and their boxes. My graded figures are in Thick Plastic Boxes with their grade on them. I have a glass cabinet for some of my more rare figures or items that are not luck to be in their boxes like many of my vintage figures. I also display some of my more unique star wars toys, glass figurines or 501st items Yes dusting those is a pain
Sometimes it drives me nuts hahaha

How many graded figures and stuff do you have? I have none surprisingly. do you buy the graded or do you send them away to AFA?
What i do need is some Star Cases for my figures. i've got a few. but they can be expensive. I have no vintage Star Wars figures. I want some but they can be expensive. I got some boxed Star Wars vintage verchles like Speeder Bike, and Mini rigs. plus a boxed Wampa. I do have some vintage carded figures from the 1979's Disney film The Black Hole. That the oldest carded figures i have. and got those for pretty cheap. Most of my carded star wars figures are from the mid 1990's onwards.

I send them away and I have bought them graded.
WOW vintage Disney figures?? What do those even look like?

CyberDrone In reply to SKGaleana [2015-05-22 07:42:50 +0000 UTC]
They do look cool in the graded box. What the highest graded figure do you own?
My old carded Black hole figures can be seen here. not the most pristine condition cards but still cool. cyberdrone.deviantart.com/art/…

I am all about the At-AT drivers. Love their costume love their machine, and they are just cool. I have an AT-AT Driver graded at a 95 MOC He has been packed away for over 10 years. honestly I can't remember what group it is from. Serves me right for keeping things out of the light hahahah. I believe it is from the Star Wars Saga collection. It was given to me already graded by a friend.
The Disney's The Black Hole merchandise you have is awesome! You can so tell the difference between the toys made then and now. So vintagy...Vintagy needs to become a word LOL

CyberDrone In reply to SKGaleana [2015-05-26 17:45:20 +0000 UTC]
AT-AT drivers are cool, Love the original figure. always loved the Troopers. So how do you say AT-AT then? with me being an old fart i as it as AT AT, but some people now sat A-T-A-T. Both are right but it's funny to think about it.
I have boxes of star wars stuff in the loft, hehe I pretty much know where it all is, some under other boxes. I have some of the early Lego Star Wars sets from when they started too. all open though, but complete.

SKGaleana In reply to CyberDrone [2015-05-27 05:45:56 +0000 UTC]
I say it both ways depending what company I am in. for the old farts it is an AT-At. For the newer generation they are A-T-A-T LOL
Oh man I was a different kid, My were wrapped in plastic and displaying in their case hahaha I was such a geek...still am hahhaahah
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
CyberDrone In reply to SKGaleana [2015-05-31 15:45:24 +0000 UTC]
Even in the old toy adds they called it AT-AT. Shame they never said it in the films. Both are4 right i guess. hehe
hehe you wrapped the up as a kid and displayed them. that's more will power than i had with my Star Wars stuff as a kid. The Lego i displayed as I was about 24 when the released that stuff. hehe i could resisted the urge to play with my toys at that age. well JUST! hehe XD

SKGaleana In reply to CyberDrone [2015-06-01 08:07:06 +0000 UTC]
Well the At-At drivers had barely 5 seconds of film time, and that is my costume in the 501st. I wish they would have said it in the film for an official name, but if it gets to hairy, we can always say, All terrain Armored Transport
I have always kept my toys in very clean and safe. My mom says I was a born collector. I blame her because she does the same thing LOL

CyberDrone In reply to SKGaleana [2015-06-04 09:47:06 +0000 UTC]
hehe yeah there is always that. The AT-ST I always call it Scout Walker and Scout Trooper is Biker Scout to me. hehe I'm just old and stuck in the old ways. XD
Does sound like you were a born collector. I had to learn the skill. i was always bashing up my toys as a kid. just thinking about it makes me freak out now. I've still got my vinyl cape Jawa. worth loads of money, but mine is not as i ripped the cape off and burn his hand off as a kid. Nooooo. hehe But still priceless figure for me as it's my childhood toy.

CyberDrone In reply to SKGaleana [2015-06-07 17:57:49 +0000 UTC]
hehe yeah i was a bit like the kid from toy story with some toys. Not all. Just rough play time. These days i am so caring of my toys i won't even touch them unless i wash my hands first. hehe
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
SKGaleana In reply to CyberDrone [2015-06-08 22:26:34 +0000 UTC]
HAHA I am the same way! No one is allowed to touch them. I ask if they used purell, if they did I am like nope, alcohol based, no touchy the action figures
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
CyberDrone In reply to SKGaleana [2015-06-10 08:51:14 +0000 UTC]
hehe yeah we don't want dirty manky hand messing up the figures. When my cousin visits and brings her kids i'm like making sure they don't touch the toys. I do have some they can play with though. not the displayed ones. hehe
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
SKGaleana In reply to CyberDrone [2015-06-12 22:27:31 +0000 UTC]
Thats noce that you have toys for them to play with. I should do that to stop the kids from asking to play with my displays
