Description
Adolescent Agouti Falcolf stands nervously on a cliff, preparing for her first 'real' solo flight on her own down along the coastline.
Having crashed and burned clumsily on branching flights before she's got more than a few reasons to be intimidating by the winds blowing off the sea and the long drop to the beach below.

This STARTED as a la-de-da sketch and turned into a three hour lineless project. I'm not sure when Falcolfs start flying but the eagles near my old house didn't start their flying lessons until they were nearly as big as their parents, and lacking their bald-white heads, or at least getting sootyish gray patches. It was fun watching them loop back and forth down the river with their parents from one giant cottonwood to another. Seeing as Falcolfs are QUITE a bit bigger I would think their first flight fails would be a bit more extreme I tried to mute her stripes as much as possible to make her look more like an adolescent and not full grown... dunno if I achieved that or not.

I really like this peice Especially her PAWS! ((which you totally can't see cause I covered them up with grass D: But for the past few days I've been studying and sketching canine paws because my canine paws were full of errors and fails. Now I'm getting more confidents that they look like they belong to a canine vs some random generic pawed animal

Thanks to a Pawlygone Tutorial I found here on dA But practice is the best tutorial I should draw more paws in a bit

Next thing to practice are dog/wolf type faces... That should be fun... They aren't really my thing but I need to improve lest they look like weird elongated cougars forever!
