Itβs been over a month and Iβm still just as lost in words as in the first time I saw this in my inbox ;u;
And I canβt stress enough how horrible I feel for letting you wait this long for a comment to this, but you know me, I hardly ever get anything done in time :I
But my god, this totally blew my mind.
Everything in this work is so well in sync with the character itself. Machete is just as calm and composed as always is, leaving his face characteristically sneaky and emotionless. The color scheme fits perfectly, I love how the darkness in background highlights the paleness of his fur, and how the bright and striking red of his eyes mirrors the blood stains of the book. The way the cheek tufts curl up into this fan-like position and alertness of the ears are brilliant, so are black eye markings, which look like they were carved to his skin. Oh, I truly adore how you executed those dramatic blood red eyes; just a quick look at his stare and youβll instantly know that heβs up to no good. The whole atmosphere of the picture is so eerie and mysterious, sort of like in an old, abandoned library full of dust (which is great because I totally love libraries). Youβre clearly a master in creating intense feelings and bringing certain depth into every piece you make. Also the slight reference to The Name of the Rose is the best :β3
This cubistic style of yours is out of this world. The edges are so clean, sharp and deadly, like shattered glass. Itβs like I might get myself cut just by observing them too closely, haha. Iβm not quite sure how you do it, but this technique certainly looks quite time-consuming for me.
You and your work have been such a huge inspiration for me over years, I canβt thank you enough for this beautiful piece of art.
Thank you

The shading looks a little dodgy on the forehead but you got the eyes and snout just right!

If I recall the pages had arsenic on, so wear some protection like gloves or use a stick. I still like the movie.
