It was probably best they changed the colors to avoid confusion.

how do you get the color behind the pointalism? do you used watercolor after or before? or a different medium?

Wow, you're really skilled at pointilism! And what books are these characters from?

Yes. There are no bluefoxes in the book. (Btw: Blue fox = Alopex lagopusolar fox - does not live in GB - can mate with red fox but the pups are infertile.) I think they made them blue to show their rivality, their "otherness" - and it's more understandable for children.

Great picture! So good it could be put as a book illustration without anyone having complaint about it. In fact, quite the contrary.

even better coloured o.o
What did you use to colour this?

Thank you! I used Paint Shop Pro 9 for the colours - I usually use aquarel colours for these pictures, but the paper quality wasn't good enough for traditional media

beautiful! I'm always excited when new stuff from your pops up. Not only do I love foxes, but I adore the way your bring them to life and give them such personality in all of your pieces.

V lovely! Its so unusual to see pointilism and you used it to very good effect here. I'd guess this is AoFW?? If so its seems you took reference from the original book descriptions, which is nice to see Lovely - unusual and certainly very well done
