Shee-it, that's terrifying. And really, really frickin' cool. Hoo boy. The dripping that might be flesh running off or pond weed or sleeting water. The milky staring fish eye, the skeletal view of the teeth. The color and texture, the perfectly pricked ears... Gods that's pretty.
I came to this pic from a fanfic called And No One Can Talk to a Horse, on AO3, where the author recced your pic as an inspiration for their story. I am so glad I came to see the picture. For a random doodle, you should be massively commended.

Hello! I wanted to know if you think kelpies change at all upon entering water, like getting a fish tail, a fish tail and no legs, webbed feet, gills, or similar. which mythical creature? yes, its beautiful in a in your face dark way but at the same time it looks like a horse sunk up to its neck in a swamp . i should have payed more attention to mythology.

PS: Forget the carrots and sugar cubes. Kelpies prefer fingers and eyeballs. The trick is to make sure there not yours.
