You know, for a mix of wood and metal, he's awfully cute!

*Sculptures! I finally spelled it correctly!
The wood elements reminds me of the Futurama episode, "Obsoletely Fabulous," where Bender goes "natural."

Very inventive.
The little guy is pretty freaking cool too, I like all the little details, burnt wood... scratches around his mouth.
Nice!

Engaging. The sort of flat, perplexed, non-expression expression and the charred wood really makes it.

Nice. I don't think I could build something like this. I'm jealous of real artists. I only do photography and digital stuff.

Ah but that is art, digital and photograph things. Art can be anything as long as you think of it as art and are open minded enough.

Don't get me wrong, I see it as art. I just feel that it is one of the easier arts one can practice. I'm envious because freehand, illustration, and things of that nature take a whole lot of discipline and practice, whereas, photography is more of a whimsical spur of the moment thing (though it can be a dedicated profession, a lot goes into controlling how the light hits the film/digital sensor).
I call illustrators and the like real artists because they have the capability to pull something completely from their imagination, whereas photographers are record takers of actual things.
Ah well. I can at least say that it does take practice to get a good hand and eye for photography.

This is great work...Lovely thing...But I just wish that the welded area is not visible...I mean, like it was not welded...It can actually be done...
Joe Datuin, a Filipino sculptor, did it and won a prize from a sculpture contest for Beijing Olympics.

It's a..flash game that ended up becoming a video game. I think it started out as a flash game, not 100% sure. It's alot of fun
