You think you have it bad I live in the states almost noone to speak of in the furry community. Even worse I live in Texas no place is worst for a furry.

lol^^ Not dirty or anything. I would rationalize my B's and C's with "well I'm a furry which is more important and takes up all my time" when in reality it was just me getting to absorbed into the internet that I stopped caring about my grades. I got to the point where I almost considered blowing of my real freinds to talk to "Internet freinds" it wasn't untill I realized I could be just as proud a furry, and even a better furry if I didn't let the chatrooms become real life and if I focused more on my grades.

*Warning incoming rant type thing*
I have scene good in things, and bad in others among a broad selection of art from different sources. But the furry community is so broad a spectrum of topics and possibilities that it doesnβt take much to paint a white canvas black so to speak. I have seen some great artists and even not so great ones. Great writers and ones just starting to harness the power of their muse (or where ever they get their inspiration). But all the ones I have seen in the furry community often get stereotyped as many bad and terrible things by others. No mater if they did something bad or not.
This is because there are some that like to abuse the furry community by posting things that most find⦠disturbing and/or wrong. In all honesty there could be 100 great artists in one area but add one that makes people get angry or disgusted. And they're all compared to that one that did something others thought was wrong or distasteful.
I firmly agree that there is no excuse for using the furry community as an umbrella for putting ignorant, distasteful or just plane wrong things up on the internet or anywhere for that mater. Iβm all for freedom of speech but still there is a limit to what I, others around the community and also outsiders want to see.
Even if your not a furry you have to admit that there is a limit to what you would watch on TV or read about in a magazine or news paper. Some people like one thing wile other like another. But there are some things that both ethics and personal choice can agree upon. Being a furry in not an excuse indeed. Itβs a responsibility. One that every furry holds above them every day of their lives.
