Description
A planet's moon once was inhabited by scattered colonies of sentient species (humans and others). Unfortunately, an accident involving the atmospheric conditions of the planet occured resulting in the death and evacuations of all of the inhabitants. Currently the moon floats in a solemn orbit hoping to be rediscovered by others...Well it's finally finished. What I need to do is focus more on Terragen work before switching from piece to piece. This took way too long to make and almost drove me insane with the time it took to render on my crappy computer.

You did a really good job with lighting but there are a few small things to fix. The texture on the bottom left on the mountain appears to be either too huge for the small mountain, stretched texture, or low quality. 2nd, the blue planet seems to be more oval shaped than circular, try adding a small highlight on the other side of it near the blackness (top left) so the viewer can see that it is a circle rather than oval. And my last crit is the sky, this may just be me but i think the piece would benefit much more from a blue sky to match the planet rather than a dark puke kind of green color(sorry i don't mean to sound rude). Other than that it is a really excellent piece! Keep up the good work.

Well the green color was actually part of the story behind the image. The planet you see was deserted and heavily polluted from the previous inhabitants. That's why the sky is that perpetual green color, since they are doing the same thing to the new planet. The blue planet in the sky was given time to heal, but they never returned. But thank you very much for the crit.

Even while washed over with toxic pinks and purples, the landscape is still somehow beautiful...you can imagine the paradise it once was.

nice work, i realy like the smooth blue texture of that moon/planet, but personaly, i would take off thoes buildings in the landscape, they look too unproportional to me, but anyways that is just my taste, good work
