8 hour oekaki.I spent about 4 of it agonizing over the background... I'm still not sure if it was done right. :/
I think it'd be really neat if they made an adult-version sailor moon. The cartoons were fun to watch as kid, but as Ive grown older I've been wishing it'd have more episodes that are somewhat on the same tone of when the outer scouts are looking for the holy grail... that was a nice plot twist at the end, although I'm sorta bummed that nobody ever dies in Sailor moon.

I love your portrayal of Sailor Jupiter. I completely agree with you on the concept of a more 'mature' Sailor Moon. I never thought it was meant to be a kids show...

Oh I understand that part. But reading the manga, I don't understand why they decided to target kids of such an early age instead of the adolescent population.

It's because middle school girls are already too cool for toys.
They are too busy chasing boy/girl bands by middle school, and then more pop music/movies/other hobbies/college by high school.

Believe it or not I was actually looking for a picture of Sailor Mars and this picture popped up on the search. I too grew up watching Sailor Moon and from what I've heard the show was originally more adult but was mondoedited for kids. What's funny is that I actually like the music in the american version more. Awesome picture by the way!
