8 hour oekaki.I spent about 4 of it agonizing over the background... I'm still not sure if it was done right. :/
I think it'd be really neat if they made an adult-version sailor moon. The cartoons were fun to watch as kid, but as Ive grown older I've been wishing it'd have more episodes that are somewhat on the same tone of when the outer scouts are looking for the holy grail... that was a nice plot twist at the end, although I'm sorta bummed that nobody ever dies in Sailor moon.

I know what you mean about the more adult tones... I've only just started a complete watch through again and I'm now in the S series. I think the drama of S really impacted a lot of people because it was so different and darker... Have you watched PGSM? it can be pretty laughable at times! don't get me wrong! but some of the new plot elements and characterizations were pretty cool and a bit dark and dramatic.

The live action was a lot of fun to watch (Yes! Finally, a meaningful death! ... oh wait a second. Not really) but it was still a kids snow.. heh

"meaningful" death if you hadn't seen it! ^ ^ Yeah, if they had taken away the kid element you wouldn't have quite so many of the face-palmingly bad moments... but it would have had an even more niche audience. :/ I guess we'll have to be happy with fanfiction?

Great job on this! I think the background came out really well; it frames the character nicely and gives a feel of movement and power. The flowing hair/ribbons and unique pose are lively and dynamic. The only thing I'm not too sure about is the lightning, it seems a bit too curvy or not jagged enough.

I AGREE!! im a huge sailor moon fan, always have been, since it first came out on tv, i watched it everyday as a kid and while i was growing up too, eventually when i found out about the japanese versions being the originals, i cant watch the english ones anymore, they make the episodes seem even more childish then usual...however i love the first season in english...just too classic to change lol but a more adult sailor moon would COMPLETE ME! <3 or even a continuation of the story and just make that more adult like....man i wish

You would have to find the original series on line in Japanese/English dubbed. There are DVD's out there. And they have all 5 seasons, three movies, somewhere.(Check E-bay)

And if you think no-one dies in Sailor Moon... you really need to watch the Japanese series'; all five of them.
All the Inners die in season 1, and one 3 outers (technically) die in season 2, and pretty much everyone dies in the last season!
American dubs are shit. Seriously, watch the Japanese!
